I'll put some pictures up soon, I just don't have any on my computer right now! (I'm not using my laptop because it's falling apart. I should take a picture of that too...)
Anyways, in a couple of weeks I'm going to Chicago for a few days. Does anyone have suggestions of what to do? I went for the first time a few years ago, and I haven't stopped craving more deep dish pizza since! So Gino's East is on the list, and Trader Joe's, because we don't have any in Canada (hopefully we will one day!), but does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do while I'm there? Where to go shopping and what to see and do?
I've got to see the bean again (or as my dad calls it, the peanut).
replying here in case you didn't see on my blog:
ReplyDeleteyou have until the 1st to get me the button and such. Or you could pay an extra $10 (reduced price for sponsors) and I can design one for you. A current sponsor secured her spot by paying for it, but won't have her button ready for another week. If this is something that may work for you, feel free to email me! xo
growing mozzarella cheese would rock!!

I've never been to Chicago, but my husband has.
ReplyDeleteAnd he's all about this pizza place called "No Nos" or something like that.
I'm not sure how it's spelled.
But the pizza's are apparently huge and amazing.
You should also go to the Shedd Aquarium and let us know how it is.

i love sangria and olives and lambs too! twins!
Chicago is my *most* favorite city! I highly recommend wandering around downtown with your camera and no plan whatsoever so you can take it all in. The root beer and German food at Berghoff is super yummy! The Chicago Symphony is amazing. & you can see some really great stuff at the Art Museum (altho, I do recommend making a game plan using their website before you go because it's huge!) Have an *amazing* trip!! :D
