Gumdrop Day!

I found a recipe for homemade gumdrops!  Keith would looooooooove it if I make these... maybe later this week?
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • 1- 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 envelopes knox gelatin
  • flavorings and food colourings
  • use candy flavorings.they have so many like watermelon, cotton candy, lemon, strawberry, etc.

Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water for 5 minutes.
Add boiling water, when dissolved , add sugar, boil slowly for 15 minutes.
Prior to pouring candy into the pans dip bottom of pans into cold water for a minute. then take pans out
Divide in 2 pans add flavoring and coloring, as desired.
Let stand over night.
Then cut into small squares or any shape roll in powdered sugar.
Tonight it's Tuesdays at Sam's! Or girls craft night, haha. I'm going to be folding some more paper cranes!  And maybe knit a square or two.  And tomorrow I have a job interview... haha! Wish me luck!  What are you guys currently working on?
