There are a TON of great websites and blogs dedicated to kindness and doing random acts of kindness. A couple of my favourites are Kind Over Matter and Operation Nice. On Operation Nice Melissa gives you "NICE Assignments". You should check out both of those blogs! Here are a few things you could do to help make someone's day:
- Send someone a handwritten letter
- Give your waiter/waitress a huge tip
- Make sure to hold the door open for someone behind you
- Put a few coins in a parking meter
- SMILE at people!
- Pay for the person in line behind you
- Get in touch with an old friend
- Leave a note in your mailbox for the mailman/mailwoman
- Give your pocket change to someone who needs it
- Compliment a stranger
- Start a sidewalk dance party! - Rachael
- Take your friends out for Fro-yo! - Somer
- Bake something delicious & bring it into work! - Melissa

I love this holiday! I took two good friends out for Fro Yo for no reason! So much fun. I love RAoKing people all year long.
ReplyDeleteOh, what an inspiring campaign of kindness! I'd add to the list: bake something delicious, and bring it in to work. Totally makes the workday easier.
