Monday's Finds, Part 10: Halloween Edition

Halloween is not really my thing.  I don't care about dressing up, or decorating anything for Halloween.  The candy is all right, but honestly I would probably rather eat a cheese ball or some delicious veggies & dip.  And all the Halloween specials on TV?  Booooooooring.  But, apparently I'm alone in the blog world in thinking like this.  All of the blog posts that I've come across lately have been about how much everyone loves Halloween.  I liked it when I was a kid, but now... not so much.  Oh well!  Haha.  I did go to a Halloween party on Friday & I had a really good time!  (And I was dressed up.  Kind of.  Barely.  Once I got to De's house she helped me accessorize, ha!  I'll post photos later.)  In the "Halloween Spirit", I decided to find some cute & funny photos of animals dressed up in costumes.  So, enjoy!
Bahaha I love the dog costumes that makes it look like they have actual legs.  Hilarious.
Look at that mini scarf!
This is just too cute.
I have no words!
So adorable!
I may be a bit of a grinch when it comes to Halloween, haha, but Squirt is dressing up tonight!  Halloween is her favourite day... she thinks every single person who rings the doorbell is there to see her.  & most of the time, the kids looooooove her and talk to her like crazy!  She's such a people person.  Tonight she is going to be a fuzzy purple spider!  Haha.

(For those of you asking, Squirt is a Jack Russel!  And 12 years old!  Love her.)

October Follow Fest!

Hey guys!  So today I'm linking up to the October Follow Fest, which you maaaaaaaaay have heard of!  It's being held by a few awesome girls!  Well, I mostly just know the one... Ilene!   But I'm excited to get to know the others!

Anyway, I wanted to share with you some things I've been doing and photos that I've taken over the past little while.
Squirt's (totally chewed up) toy got stuck on her head.  And she walked around like this for a while, ha!
I got to hang out with cute little Sophie again!  (I actually just got home from hanging out with her this afternoon!  She's adooooorable.)
Awww, Lauren & Sophie... so sweet.
She fell asleep with her arm like this, so naturally Tim put his wedding band on two of her cute little fingers.  Haha!
Keith and I went apple picking on a foggggggy day.  We actually went again to the same place on Sunday!
I totally need my bangs cut (ha) but I posed for some photos for my new items coming to the etsy shop!  Ha & I am no model!  Every single pose was the same!
We went out for Nat's birthday!  We also had a surprise party for her, but I don't have those photos uploaded yet.  I'll do a post about it soon, though!
My Nana wore my sister's HIGH heels!  !!!!!!!!!!!!  hahahah oh man, it was hilarious!
We took squirt apple picking with us.  She loved it!

So... there are a bunch of random photos from the past little while!  Haha.  As you can see, lately I've been doing a lot of apple picking.  The other day I decided to do some baking to use up some apples.  Last fall I made some apple muffins, so I decided to try those again.  The recipe called for 3 cups of apples, and Keith & I must have picked some enormous apples because I only used one!  Haha.  So much for using up the apples... do any of you guys have some apple recipes that I should try?  Let me know!

So, we went camping...

I can't believe we only went camping once this year, and it was in September!  We had an awesome time though.  And some visitors in the night, ha!  Lots of things were carved, trees were climbed, beer was drank, and fun was had!  Next year we definitely have to go camping more... or rent a houseboat?!  Do you guys enjoy camping?  Did you get a chance to go this summer at all?

Sneak Peek!

Next week I'm going to be updating my shop and adding the new fall collection!  I've been working on it for quite a while and I'm so excited to share it with you guys!  So, mark your calendars for November 4th!

I have a question for you guys.  Last year I decided to donate at least one square for every item sold in my Etsy shop to the Knit-a-Square charity.  This year I'm wondering if I should donate knit items to a different charity?  And every new collection I can donate to a new charity.  I'll continue to sell and make the items from my first collection and donate to Knit-a-Square.  Do you guys think that's a good idea?  Everyone collection helps out a different charity?  Let me know what you think!

Monday's Finds, Part 9!

Yesterday Keith & I went apple picking again!  We went to the same place we went a few weeks ago, Myers Farm in Copetown.  But this time, we brought Squirt!  She had a blast running around and seeing all of the animals.  I took a ton of photos, so I'll share those with you guys later this week.  Today I'm going to do some baking because we have a ton of apples!
Any tetris lovers out there?
I love this photo.
Bahaha so true.
AWESOME Halloween costume!
Bahaha love it!
I hate it when this happens!  ha.
When I was little I would get so embarrassed... ha!
