Weddings, Stones & Glitter!

Tim & De's wedding was full of awesome handmade items.  For the place cards, De decided that she wanted to use rocks/stones with the person's name on it.  We went out (twice) on an adventure to collect stones.  Well, the girls collected rocks... the guys played in the stream & turned sticks into swords, ha!  It was a lot of fun though.  The first time we went I forgot my camera (boo), but I remembered to bring it the next time.  They had over 150 people at their wedding, so we had to collect a ton of rocks!
We came across a cute (and WET) dog.  I think his name was Oliver?  Or Oscar?  Something like that...
Haha so the first time we went, we had two small-ish bags that were filled with rocks and we just carried them back to the car.  This time, we grabbed waaaay more (just to be sure we had more than enough!), and this is how the guys carried it back:
Hahaha, hilarious.  Here are a couple photos of the rocks while they were drying, once De wrote the names on them & we coated them in some glitter glue:
Aaaaaaaaand, I stole this one from Jen of her & her family's stones:
& this one from Katie, of one of the tables:
