That time we went apple picking...

Back in... October?  Keith & I went apple picking on a farm in Copetown.   We actually went twice this fall.  And, I still never got around to baking an apple pie.  I swear I will one day... maybe I should add that to my list of things to do, ha!

These photos are from the first time we went, the second time we brought little Squirty and she had a blast running around.  They've got a little petting zoo, a few miniature horses, a goat, a pig, some chickens & a couple of rabbits.  Unfortunately no sheep... haha.  But it was fun!  & as you can see, it was suuuuuper foggy.  I'm sure next fall we'll be going back at least once!  We also picked up some raspberry jam and some delicious pickles.  Yum!

I'm really looking forward to this weekend!  Tonight I'm not sure what Keith and I have planned, but tomorrow Jesse and Lauren are throwing a joint birthday party for me & Jesse!  It will be the third, haha. We always have such a good time, and we're planning on drinking some DIRTY martinis.  Extra olives!       Then on Monday it's my biiiiirthday, and we're going out to eat at one of my favourite restaurants.  Can't wait!  What do you guys have planned for this weekend?

  3. Holly! I just wanted to reply to your comment on my blog the other day. It would be so great to have another person to check on with the Day Zero Project. I'm so determined to make it work with the things on my list, and it would so good to have someone to share it with. Right now I'm learning a lot of CSS and HTML and I've planned to make a blog makeover for a friend during December. Oh, it's so much fun!

Again, I think these photos are amazing. What a special atmosphere! I love it!
