I'm still feeling a little under the weather, but I have that big blog post that I'm working on that I will share with you guys soon! It just might have to wait until the new year.  I hope that everyone had a great Christmas & has a good time on New Years Eve! 

Also, huuuuuuuuuuuge congratulations to Sandy, she had her adorable baby boy yesterday!!!

I usually don't blog on the weekends, so I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & hope you all have a great weekend!

That time I had a tea party...

Last week I had a little tea party at my house.  Unfortunately half of the people invited couldn't make it, but everyone who came still had a nice time! (And extra treats, haha!)  As usual, when there are cute kids around (Wolfgang & Sophie), all of the photos I take end up being of them!  They're just too sweet & cute.  I love having them over!  And, judging by the photos, so does Squirt.  Haha.

I bought that Kusmi tea in Paris. ...and I still haven't tried it, ha!  Are you like that with things you buy while you're away?  Scared to open them because once you use it all, it's gone for good!  Or is that just me?  I still have some candies in my purse that I bought in Nice, ha!  They are probably bad by now, but I don't want them to be all gone!

(Um, I just checked Kusmi's website... and I can totally buy it online.  Bahahahaha.)

I've been working on a couple of fun blog posts for you guys, but today I woke up feeling worse than I did yesterday... I have a cold but I'm feeling all light headed today, too.  So, I'm going to continue working on them another day... today I'm going to have a bath & finish reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo".

Afternoon Tea!

For my birthday I took a spinning class in Toronto (as in spinning yarn, not an exercise bike.), and afterwards we went out for afternoon tea at Annona!  Everything was so delicious... my mom & I both ordered the Eros tea.  I'm usually not a fan of citrus flavoured things (unless it's orange juice... which I am currently chugging because I have a cold.), but this was so good.  We each had our own teapot & they were HUGE, but we made sure to drink it all!  Haha.  Since it was my birthday (weekend), they brought out a little birthday surprise for me, a sheet of white chocolate with milk chocolate melted on it and some delicious strawberries.

If you're ever in Toronto and want to go out for afternoon tea, I highly suggest going to Annona!  Everything was so delicious.  I want to go back, haha!  Now I want to go for afternoon tea all of the time.  (And, now I can check something off of my list!  Haha.)  Hopefully one day I'll have afternoon tea in England...

Mexican Fiesta!

A few weeks ago (err, I think it was more like a couple months ago...) we had some people over for a Mexican night.   By that, I mean we made tacos (and guacamole... mmm!) and mostly spent the night playing with Sophie & talking about how cute she is.

Friday afternoon my Nana's best friend, Alice, passed away at the age of 99.  99 years old!  Yesterday we went to her funeral.  Every Friday night her and my Nana would go out to Wendy's for dinner (haha the above photo was taken of us last year.),  As you can see by the photo she was always dressed up.  She wore a ring on every finger & her scarves always matched her outfit.   Here's an article I just found that was written about her beating cancer over 60 years ago (it's a few years old).   Rest in peace, Alice!

I had a great birthday yesterday!  I have a ton of photos to share with you guys, I just need to get them uploaded... haha.  (My sister is studying for her last exam of the year tomorrow so I can't borrow her computer until after then!)  My mom definitely goes all out for birthdays!  & Keith spoiled me, toooo.  Thanks so much to everyone for all of the birthday wishes! 

Tomorrow I'm having some girls over for a little tea party, I'm so excited!  I just got back from picking up a bunch of little treats. Don't worry, I'll take tons of photos!  What are you guys up to this week?  Anything exciting?
