A Peek at My Week.. . 6!

Squirty making sure that the blankets I knit are good enough for other animals.  (She's totally watching TV in the second photo... haha.)
Sara & I went out for breakfast.  I love pepper.  & ketchup.
Letters & tea.  The cards are from moonbeamwishes.
My Dad & I went to the chili cook-off downtown.  That one was my favourite... but unfortunately they didn't win.  Those little red skinny things are chili strings.
Lots of blankets.  & lots of ends to sew in... haha.
Puzzling.
Keith & I went to mini-golfing in Cambridge.  (I think we tied.  I was winning at the beginning, though... ha.)
My week has been pretty good... but then Thursday my Nana wasn't feeling well so we said she should go see the doctor, and of course her doctor is out of town until Monday, and the only walk-in clinic in my city is only open to people who have doctors in the building (...), so she had to go to the emergency room.  I had an appointment in the hospital just before my Dad brought her in, and my Mom works next door so we all sat in the waiting room for a while with her.  My Dad ended up taking her to the hospital a town over because the wait was a lot shorter there, and now she's back in our city in the hospital for the night.  Or the next little while.  However long it will take her to get her heart beating regularly again.  So, I'm really hoping that she's going to start to feel better soon.  My Nana neeeeeeeever gets sick... the last time she was in the hospital was over 65 years ago, ha.  But hopefully she'll be feeling a lot better soon & be able to get out of the hospital!  (And back to helping me sewing in those ends!  Haha.)

I hope you guys all had a great week!   Do you have any plans for the weekend?

  8. I hope your Nana feels better. Are you making a scrappy blanket? I've been wanting to make one of those for a while. Also, I'm so glad you commented on my blog! I've been following you for a while, and I never even knew that you followed me. Weird eh?
