This time when I made the "Detox Salad", I made sure to use the food processor to chop up the broccoli, cauliflower, and the carrots. Last time it took ages to chop everything by hand. It's still just as messy (or maybe I'm just good at making messes in the kitchen?) but it's so much easier. This salad is pretty delicious & simple to make. And it makes a TON. I keep it in the fridge and it tastes just as good the next day or the day after!
I blogged about making this brussel spout salad by Shutterbean before & oh man, I love it so much. This salad doesn't really make it to the second day because it gets eaten up so fast. I kind of wish I had some in the fridge right now... haha. This time I added the walnuts & I didn't mind them at all! I'm usually not that big of a fan of nuts in things (chocolates & salad? Blah. No nuts, please!), but I decided to try them with it this time & I'm glad I did! Delicious. I think I'm going to have to make a big bowl of this this weekend... yum! So good!
