At the beginning of every new month, I've been doing a re-cap of my "goals" for the month & setting some new ones. But, they're always the same. Write ___ letters. Make ___ blankets. Read ___ books. I'm still going to do that in a day or two (ha), but I wanted to add something new for June. The other day I was reading Oh She Glows (a fellow Canadian blogger!) & she put out a challenge to all of her readers to have one salad each & every day for the month of June. Awesome. There are so many different types of salads out there & I'm pumped to try new dressings and completely new types of salads. Here are a few I loooooove to make & have posted about before:

Lately I've been loooooooooving this dressing that Kait posted the other day for her green bean & quinoa salad. I've actually made the dressing the past three days for salads, ha! It's that good! And I'm excited to make this recipe that Iowa Girl Eats posted yesterday:
Yum! Let me know if any of you guys are going to try this challenge out! Don't forget you can do things like fruit salads, too!
That last salad looks incredible!!

Off to read these recipes!
This is a great challenge! I also have been into salads recently. Maybe it's because the temperatures have warmed up and I want cold meals or maybe it's because I'm on a healthy kick lately. Good luck with your challenge!
ReplyDeleteI so need to do this.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I actually love that band's music. Have been listening to them on MySpace while I do some art (I feel 15 again). I'm thinking that once Marmite is back in production (http://www.marmite.co.nz/# lol) we should definitely do a parcel swap! Would be awesome.
Such a neat idea! I'm not a big salad eater, so I'll pass on this challenge.
ReplyDeleteThey all look so yummy, though!
