Last week De & I went to Kitchener and Cambridge to go crystal shopping for her shop, the Queen's Quartz. It was such a nice day so we got a little sidetracked along the way and stopped to hang out by the river in Cambridge. Then we got tons & TONS of crystals. (I'm going to have to take photos of all of De's new crystals that she got to show you guys. I'm so excited for her to start making jewelery and stuff with her crystals.) After we picked up the crystals, we ate by the river in Cambridge & looked at some of the stuff we bought. The white stick is of selenite, and those orange stones are orange calcite.
From the Queen's Quartz:
Orange Calcite: This stone is just the most delicious looking little slice of heaven, that fits perfectly and smoothly in the palm of your hand. Orange Calcite is highly energizing and cleansing, helping to dissolve problems, and maximize potential. Calcite is a balancer of the emotions, aiding in the removal of fear and depression. A particularly good stone for lovely Leo's.Selenite: Selenite helps to anchor you in the earths vibration. It is a calming stone that instills deep peace and is excellent for meditation or spiritual work. It is also said to enhance telepathy. Selenite can be used to form a protective grid around your house, creating a safe and quiet space that does not allow outside influences in, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. It is also a powerful disperser and stabilizer for erratic emotions. This stone neutralizes mercury poisoning from dental amalgam and reverses the effects of free radicals.
I have so much fun going crystal shopping with De! Just hanging out by the river talking about what we got & other things is such a blast. If you guys want to get any crystals or find out some more information, be sure to check out her page: The Queen's Quartz! I think she may be opening an Etsy shop soon!
