A Peek at My Week... 20!

Got some new plants!
Three different kinds of mint!  I'm so excited to use it in different iced teas & MOJITOS all summer long!  Yum.
Spent the day on Tuesday in Guelph with Brooke, Meaghan & Alex!  SO MUCH FUN.  I don't know why we don't hang out more often, ha.  We talk pretty much every day, but we hadn't seen each other since Tessier's birthday back in March.  We're going to change that, though. We made so many awesome plans for this summer.
Took photos of the books I read in May... still need to blog about that, ha.
Got some tea in Guelph!  Yum.
My tea from Bri!
Colour Week: Red.  For those of you wondering, this is a hot pepper grower thing?  Haha.  I don't know, Keith bought it.  We've got some red peppers growing in it.  You hang it & they grow... haha we'll see how it turns out!

Gah I don't want to post instagram photos, but Keith & I went out for breakfast on Saturday (or Sunday?) and I didn't take any photos with my camera.  & I love this photo.  So, oh well.  Ha!

This week was pretty good!  I had such a fun time in Guelph.  We went out for lunch, then stopped at the mall... (bad idea!  Haha.  Stopped at Lush & DavidsTea... oh man.  Two of my most favourite stores), then we hung out in a park for a few hours & made tons of plans for the summer.  I'm excited!  First thing: BOOK CLUB.  And then wine & cheese night.  So excited to do lots of awesome things with them.  We have such a blast together.

On Sunday I got some more plants!  Some heirloom tomato plants, lots of mint, more basil, cilantro, dill, some dahlias.  I kind of love dahlias. They're so pretty, so I had to get some.  Haha hopefully they'll grow okay.

I've been crocheting a TON this week.  Finished Beca's bag (I should really take photos of it before I send it off... haha.), made myself a sweater, made a new item for the shop (I think I finally got it right!  Haha.  Now I just need to make a bunch more in different colours.) and I started on a new shawl.  Oh and I made some bracelets on Thursday, but those aren't crocheted.  Pretty productive!  I'm proud, ha.

Today I'm going crystal shopping with De!  And we are still going to do those crystal posts on my blog!  We haven't forgot...  maybe we will get started on them today!   My sister is a Brownies & Sparks leader, and on Saturday they're having their annual camp out.  A few of the leaders backed out, so I'm going to be helping out for a bit with De.  & then on Sunday a bunch of us are going out for "date night".  Dinner & a movie.  Bah.  I hate hte movies, ha.  I have panic attacks afterwards.  But the rest of that will be fun, ha.  Everyone who's going is pretty awesome, so it will be fun.  And Sunday DAY I'll probably be poolside.  I think it's supposed to feel like something insane like 41 degrees?  CRAZY.

What do you have planned for the weekend?

  1. I'm so jealous of your plants. I can barely grow anything up here because of the altitude. I have an avocado tree going though, its been doing very well so I'm proud of that. You should try it, too easy.
