The List: June Update!

Last month I was hoping to read 4 books, write 10 letters, and make 40 baby hats.  I'm not 100% sure how many baby hats I made (I'll have to go check, I kind of forgot to.) but it definitely wasn't 40... haha.  More like 10 or so.  But this month I'll hopefully make more.  I did read 4 books (5, actually!  But one isn't pictured).  The Book of Negroes is an amazing book & I really enjoyed Room.  I read Catching Fire & Mocking Jay because I didn't have any new books to read, ha.   I can't really seem myself ever re-reading those two.  Oh well.  & I wrote about 4 letters.

I also went strawberry picking, made pizza on the BBQ & started watching Rescue Me!  So I was able to mark a few things off of "the List".

Hopefully this month I'll read at least 4 books, write 10 letters & make 20 items for charity.  And also go raspberry, blueberry, cherry & gooseberry picking!  Haha.  Plus maybe get some camping in?  And a picnic or two?

Do you have any goals for this month?  Did you make any for June?

  1. I really like your letter writing idea! I feel like I hoard all manners of stationery but when it comes to actually using it...not so much :/ I should get in the habit of writing to people more often.

    1. Haha I feel ya. I want to buy all kinds of stationery but then I don't want to use it... I might "wreck it". Ha.

Try setting a goal to write even one letter a month! When you actually sit down to do it it takes no time at all. The hardest part for me is just sitting down & DOING it.

  5. I've read all those books. I really enjoyed Room. It was the first book I read on my iPad and I remember turning the last page and seeing the 'Tap here to close this book' and being so, so sad I had finished it. I wanted more of those characters.
