Whatcha Think?!

These are just a few of the things that I've been making lately.  What do you guys think?  The little poncho is going to be a gift for sweet little Sophie's first birthday (so... hopefully Lauren won't look at this!  But if she does, DON'T SHOW SOPH!  bahaha.) and I just made the shawl for myself.  & De suggested I try making some bikini tops a couple of weeks ago, sooo... there ya go.

What do you guys think of them?  Should I make more & add them to the shop?  Make ponchos that could fit people over the age of 1?  Haha.  And if so, what kind of options should I have for the colours?  One solid colour?  A few different colours like that one?  What do you think?  I need your feedback!   Do you like the shawl?  With the fringe (the long strings at the end ) or without?  And the bikini!  What sort of colours?  Help me out!  haha.

  1. I love them alllll! The shawl is pretty cool. I love the bikini tops, I think they'd look super cool in really bright colours.

  2. Love the bikini top! Reminds me of a crochet bikini my mom had when I was younger and we spent our days on the beach.

  3. Oh wow that shawl is beautful - looks great with the fringe. I can see about a zillion colour combos for ponchos, and I think the bikini would look great in a bright sunshine yellow. Well done!

  6. I love them all! The shawl looks cute with the fringe but would look cute without too! And the bikini tops are adorable!! All colours would be fun, but I think some pretty peaches and lighter colours would be great.

    1. Thanks! I just made another shawl in a dark blue & I think I'm either going to leave the fringe off, or attach a smaller fringe. We'll see. I'm so indecisive, ha.

Ooh peach bikini tops sounds pretty!

    1. Thanks Megan! I didn't ever think I was going to be a shawl person, either! Haha. I'll have to share photos of me wearing it to get ideas of how it looks on a person. Not so old-lady-ish! ;)

  8. a little late to the party here but I think the shawl in black or dark grey (like the bikini top colour) would look amazing. I looooove the look of the bikini top but I have to say, I would be a little nervous about showing off too much?? I'm not sure..maybe the triangles are larger then I think? hahah I've got nothing to show anyway what am I even worried about.

Have you ever made a bikini cover up? I think that could look super cute in white or sand colour for a beach day or pool party.

    1. Ooh I'll have to try that out!

Haha I think I'm going to be lining the bikini tops! I'll have to get my mom to help out with that though, because I have 0 sewing skills... ha. & yes the triangles are bigger than they look, I think. I tried it on & it actually did a good job of covering everything, hahaha.

I did make a couple of different bikini cover ups a few months ago, and of course forgot to take photos... ha. I'm still playing around with them & trying to come up with the perfect pattern though.
