Afternoon Tea!

In the beginning of August my Mom & I went out to Glenhyrst Gardens for afternoon tea at their tea room, The Golden Teapot.  Everything was so delicious. We ended up bringing some things home, because as you can see they serve you a TON of food.  I loved all of the little details, like the teapot spoons for the apple butter, devonshire cream and jam.  The tea my Mom got was Provence and I ordered the Monk's Blend.  SO DELICIOUS.  Both of them.  We went on a really good day, too.  We had the entire room to ourselves, so I was just taking tons of photos of everything, ha.  I love afternoon tea.  I took a bunch of photos of the outside, too, but since this post already has a ton of photos I'll save that for another day... ha!  Have you ever gone somewhere for afternoon tea (or high tea?  I read somewhere that they mean two different things, but I'm not 100% sure, ha.)  There are actually quite a few places around here that offer afternoon/high tea.  If you're not sure if your city has a place that offers it, do a quick google search & you'll probably find something nearby!  It's a really fun way to spend the afternoon.  (and DELICIOUS!)
