The land of palm trees...

Tried another type of Cupcake wine.  So far the Chardonnay is my favourite.

So, while we were in Tampa for the day, we saw a car parked next to ours that was full of... garbage?  Mail, newspapers, bags and all kinds of things.  Weird.  A hoarder's car.

Tried pinkberry.  I've gotta say Yogurty's is better.

This salad dressing was really good... some type of champagne mustard?  It was delicious.

Some more photos of my trip to Florida.  Ate some good food, drank some good drinks, hung out at the pool & the beach.  Lots of swimming.  The weather was pretty much perfect while we were there.  Next up: Orlando & Sarasota.

Apparently putting vinegar on fries is a foreign concept in Florida.  They gave us a bowl with a spoon.

I think I took the most photos on the first day, so the rest of my days in Florida will probably just all be grouped together.  It was nice going to Florida for the first time in a few years, when I was in elementary & high school we went pretty frequently.  We (my family & I went) were hoping that Keith was going to be able to come with us, but he had his accident just before we left.  He wouldn't let me stay, he said if I didn't go on the trip then he would take my plane ticket & go.  I was able to talk to him every day while I was gone, even if it was just for a few minutes some days.

Anyway, on our first day we swam (the pool was over 90 degrees, and the gulf was something crazy like 85!  SO WARM.) and watched a cloudy sunset at the beach.  Then we ate outside and watched a heat lightening storm and drank mojitos.  Pretty nice.  (Why don't we have happy hour in Ontario?!)

The deer were my favourite animals (I've never pet a deer before, so awesome.), and the sweet little goats were a close second.  Unfortunately there were no sheep... I guess that means I'll just have to go back to Toronto Island to visit with my favourite sheep ever, ha!   We had a fun morning at the zoo, Leah loved everything!  It was so cute watching her with all of the animals.  I think her favourite thing of the day was seeing some chickens near the end, ha!  She loves birds.   On the ride home she seemed strangely quiet, and De & I turned around to see her sound asleep in the backseat.   I think she had a pretty good day while her mom, dad & siblings were out at a baseball game!
